What solar deals are running right now?
Solar Galaxy runs seasonal and government-backed offers on residential and commercial solar systems, battery storage packages and inverter upgrades. Each deal listed below is current as of the date shown. We update this page as new offers launch and remove deals once they expire.
EOFY 2026 Solar Deals
End of financial year offers on residential solar systems, battery storage and inverter upgrades. Includes the instant asset write-off for eligible businesses before the $20,000 threshold drops on 1 July.
NSW Home Energy Saver Loan
Zero-interest loans up to $15,000 for NSW homeowners and landlords to install solar panels, battery storage and qualifying energy upgrades. Funded by the NSW Government through Brighte and Plenti. Plus up to $4,000 discount for low-income households.
Instant Asset Write-Off
The instant asset write-off lets eligible businesses deduct the full cost of commercial solar, batteries and inverters up to $20,000 per asset. The threshold drops to $1,000 from 1 July 2026.
What types of solar deals are available in Australia?
Australian solar deals fall into 4 main categories: manufacturer promotions, installer package discounts, government incentive windows and battery bundle offers. Each type works differently, and they can often be combined for a larger total saving on the same system.
Manufacturer promotions come directly from brands such as Sungrow, Tesla and Fox ESS. These are usually tied to product launches or stock clearances and run for 4 to 8 weeks.
Installer package deals bundle solar panels with inverters or batteries at a reduced combined price. The saving comes from buying power with distributors and the efficiency of a single-visit installation.
Government incentive windows create natural deal timelines. The federal STC rebate under the Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme decreases each year until 2030 as the deeming period shortens. State programs such as the NSW Peak Demand Reduction Scheme and Victoria Solar Homes Program have fixed funding pools that close once allocated.
Battery bundle offers pair a solar panel system with storage at a price lower than buying each separately. With residential battery prices dropping 18% between 2024 and 2026 according to the Clean Energy Council, bundle pricing is now more accessible for homes across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.

How do solar deals differ from solar rebates?
Solar Deals
Commercial offers set by installers or manufacturers. These stack on top of government rebates for additional savings. Timing varies, typically lasting 2 to 8 weeks, and depends on stock levels and manufacturer promotions.
When Solar Galaxy lists a package at a discounted price, the STC rebate has already been applied. The deal saving is an additional reduction beyond the government incentive.
Solar Rebates
Government-funded incentives administered through programs like the SRES and state-level schemes. The federal STC rebate is available to every Australian household and small business installing an eligible system under 100kW. It applies automatically at the point of sale.
Government rebates run on annual schedules and legislative cycles. The STC spot price sat at around $39 per certificate in June 2026. For a 6.6kW system in Sydney, this translates to roughly $2,800 off the total price. See all solar rebates.
Who qualifies for solar deals in Australia?
Homeowners
Owner-occupied houses, townhouses and duplexes across NSW, VIC, QLD, SA and WA. Some offers extend to investment properties where the owner arranges the installation.
Business Owners
Commercial solar systems between 20kW and 100kW qualify for both the STC rebate and any active Solar Galaxy deal. Covers small businesses, schools, warehouses, retail shops and medical centres.
New & Existing Systems
Battery-only deals are available for homeowners who already have solar installed. Adding storage lets you use excess generation during peak evening hours. Contact us to check which deals apply to your situation.
When is the best time to buy solar in Australia?
The best time to buy solar is during Q2 (April to June) and Q4 (October to December) when installer deals, EOFY tax incentives and manufacturer clearances overlap. These two windows consistently produce the lowest effective prices across the Australian market.
April through June is the strongest period. Businesses install before the end of financial year to claim the instant asset write-off or accelerated depreciation. Installers increase capacity and offer deals to fill the schedule.
October through December is the second-best window. Spring brings longer daylight hours, so newly installed systems start generating returns immediately. Distributors often launch end-of-calendar-year promotions.
Two factors make waiting risky. The STC rebate reduces each January as the deeming period shortens, so the same system attracts fewer certificates in 2027 than in 2026. Electricity prices from retailers such as AGL, Origin Energy and EnergyAustralia have risen an average of 8% to 12% per year since 2022 according to the Australian Energy Market Commission.

How much can you save with solar deals?
Combining a Solar Galaxy deal with the federal STC rebate saves most households between $3,500 and $6,000 on a standard 6.6kW to 13kW system. Commercial customers installing 30kW to 100kW systems typically save $8,000 to $25,000 or more when deals align with government incentive windows.
Each deal page lists the specific saving amount. All prices include the STC rebate applied at point of sale, so the deal discount is on top of the government incentive.

Pricing disclaimer: All prices shown on this page are estimates that include the applicable STC rebate at current certificate values. Final pricing depends on site inspection, roof type, system configuration and any additional electrical work required. Deal pricing is subject to stock availability and may change without notice. FAQs About Solar Deals in Australia
Solar Galaxy launches new deals every 4 to 8 weeks, with the most active deal periods falling in April through June (EOFY) and October through December. Manufacturer promotions from brands such as Sungrow, Tesla and Fronius also create short-notice offers. Request a quote to be notified when a deal matches your requirements.
Yes. Every Solar Galaxy deal price already includes the federal STC rebate applied as a point-of-sale discount. The deal saving is on top of the rebate. For a 6.6kW system, the STC rebate is roughly $2,800, and any active deal discount applies on top of that amount.
Commercial solar deals are available for businesses, schools, warehouses and retail properties. Systems between 20kW and 100kW qualify for STC rebates alongside any active deal. Larger systems above 100kW may qualify for LGC-based incentives. Contact Solar Galaxy for a tailored commercial quote.
The deal price is locked in when you sign the installation agreement, not at the time of installation. Provided you have a signed contract before the expiry date, the deal pricing applies regardless of the installation schedule. Solar Galaxy typically completes residential installations within 2 to 4 weeks of signing.
All battery deals listed on this page include full installation by a Clean Energy Council accredited electrician. The price covers the battery unit, mounting hardware, switchboard upgrade where required, commissioning and connection to your solar system.
Solar Galaxy is a Clean Energy Council Approved Solar Retailer, which means all advertised pricing must comply with the CEC Code of Conduct. This includes transparent quoting and no misleading discount claims. Every deal on this page lists the offer details and expiry dates upfront.
Yes. Battery-only deals are available for homeowners who already have a solar system installed. Adding storage lets you store excess generation and use it during peak evening hours when electricity rates are highest. Request a quote for current battery-only offers.
Q2 (April to June) and Q4 (October to December) consistently offer the best pricing. EOFY tax incentives, manufacturer clearances and installer promotions overlap during these windows. The STC rebate also reduces each January, so buying sooner means a larger government discount.
Solar Galaxy offers a best price guarantee. If you receive a lower written quote from another Clean Energy Council Approved Retailer for an equivalent system using the same components, contact our team to discuss matching or beating that price.
