Solar & Battery Workmanship Warranty

This document outlines the workmanship warranty for the installation of solar and battery
storage systems. It covers defects arising from installation work performed by qualified and
SAA accredited installers.

Who Is Covered?

This warranty applies to the customer listed in the installation agreement for the specified
property. If ownership of the property changes, the remaining warranty period may not be
transferred to the new owner.

Installer And Standards

All installations are carried out by appropriately licensed, trained, and accredited professionals,
including SAA accredited installers where required.

Warranty Scope

This workmanship warranty covers defects related to the installation of:

  • Solar panel systems
  • Solar inverters
  • Battery storage systems
  • Associated electrical and mounting components

This warranty does not cover product performance or equipment faults, which are subject to
manufacturer warranties.

Warranty Period

  • General installation (solar & battery): 1 + 9 years from completion
  • Switchboard-related work: 1 year from completion
  • Roof leaks: 1 year from completion
  • Electrical components and cabling: 1 year from completion

System must be cleaned, checked, and logged by a licensed solar maintenance company every
12 months after Year 1.

Where a valid claim is submitted and accepted, we will repair, replace, or re-perform the
installation work at no cost to the customer.

Limitations & Exclusions

This warranty does not apply where issues arise due to:

  • Misuse, neglect, or improper operation of the system
  • Failure to follow manufacturer or installer instructions
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs
  • Damage caused by third parties
  • Extreme weather events such as storms, floods, or lightning
  • Environmental conditions including corrosion, pests, or structural movement
  • Electrical or network supply issues
  • Internet or monitoring connectivity issues
  • General wear and tear
  • Failure to maintain the system properly
  • Delays in reporting faults
  • Work not included in the original agreement

Service Call Out Fee

A call-out fee of $350–$550 incl GST will apply if a site visit is requested and no workmanship
fault is found.

How To Make A Claim

To make a warranty claim, please provide:

  • Your contact details
  • Installation address
  • Description of the issue
  • Proof of purchase (invoice or receipt)
  • Supporting evidence (photos if available)

Remedies

If a defect is confirmed and is not a major failure, we will rectify the issue within a reasonable
timeframe at no cost.

Statutory Rights

This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. You may
be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund depending on the nature of the issue.
